Stainless steel production increased in most countries during 2014
Global stainless steel crude steel output in 2014 reached historical high of 41.7 million tons, up 8.3% from a year earlier, MEPS, expects global output to grow by 3.4% in 2015, 43.1 million tons.
The agency forecast, yield moderate growth in the United States in 2015 to 2015 tons; Japan’s output growth is strong, up almost 5% in 2014, 2015 pre increase nearly 3.35 million tons; South Korea region is expected to moderate recovery in 2015, production growth of about 1.5%; European anti-dumping duties for China, medium and long term will be beneficial to the revitalization of its production.
