Chinese wire rod export growth of 17.07% in the previous 4 monthes

According to industry departments statistics, from January 2015 to April, wire rod imports in China is 184506.67 tons, compared with from January 2014 to April, reduce 16.90%; Wire rod export total of 3730737.91 tons, and increased by 17.07% from January 2014 to April.

From January 2015 to April, China’s total imports of steel wire is 51071.45 tons, down 12.97% year on year. Steel wire’s total exports of 743246.34 tons, year-on-year increase of 19.53%. From January 2015 to April, steel rope total imports of 26229.08 tons, down 2.64% year on year. Steel rope’s total exports of 350444.38 tons, compared with 13.54% increase from January 2014 to April.

In terms of wire rod imports, ordinary wire rod imports is 114425.63 tons, down 13.33% year on year. Hot rolled stainless wire rod imports is 13124.83 tons, down 9.47% year on year. Hot rolled alloy steel wire rod imports is 56956.21 tons, down 24.57% year on year. Exports, ordinary wire rod export amount is 8449.24 tons, year-on-year increase of 2.95%; Hot rolled stainless wire rod export amount is 35185.16 tons, down 7.14% year on year. Hot rolled alloy steel wire rod export amount is 6662028.09 tons, year-on-year increase of 25.55%.

Carbon in steel imports, imports of steel wire is 24409.76 tons, down 13.68% year on year. Stainless steel imports of 6533.21 tons, compared with 4.16% increase; Alloy steel imports of 20128.49 tons, down 16.58% year on year. Exports, general carbon steel exports of 584645.70 tons, year-on-year increase of 24.13%; Stainless steel exports of 22064.07 tons, down 0.09% year on year. Alloy steel exports of 136536.58 tons, year-on-year increase of 6.04%.

In terms of import steel rope, stranded wire rope imports is 24833.26 tons, year-on-year increase of 3.67%; Other steel rope imports of 1395.83 tons, down 53.24% year on year. Exports, exports stranded wire cable is 332990.75 tons, year-on-year increase of 9.48%; Other exports steel rope is 17453.63 tons, year-on-year increase of 288.97%.
